Ironcrest Equipment was founded by Carol Lawrence, a wife, mother, farmer, and business owner who understands firsthand how important dependable equipment can be.
There had to be a better middle ground.
Carol and her husband, Jason, have been married for 26 years and raised three children: Preston, Piper, and Parker. They live on 70 acres in the West Point community near Cullman, where Carol raises chickens and goats and manages the never-ending list of projects that comes with rural life.
Mini excavators and mini skid steers became essential tools around the Lawrence farm. They also exposed Carol to a frustrating gap in the compact-equipment market. Many inexpensive imported machines were affordable initially, but dependable parts and after-sale support could be difficult to find. Established national brands offered stronger support networks, but their prices put them beyond the reach of many farmers, property owners, and small contractors.

Fast access beyond our Cullman lot
Ironcrest stocks selected RIPPA mini excavators and mini skid steers locally and can also reserve equipment from RIPPA’s U.S. warehouses. With established relationships and our own transportation scheduling, available warehouse equipment can move to Cullman quickly. A recent dealer shipment was ordered and paid for on Tuesday and confirmed for Friday delivery.
Arrival times depend on warehouse availability and transportation schedules, but customers can reserve a specific machine with a deposit, receive preorder pricing when available, and have Ironcrest handle transportation, local inspection, preparation, pickup, and delivery coordination.
