Ground Protection Mats for Outdoor Event Setup and Cleanup
Share
Outdoor event venues can take their hardest traffic before the guests arrive and after they leave. BamaMats help protect suitable lawn access routes used by delivery trucks, trailers and setup equipment. Plan the service route as carefully as the event layout.
Protect the working side of the venue Tent, staging, lighting and equipment deliveries can mean repeated trips across grass. A mat route helps keep that traffic in a defined corridor and reduces direct tire contact with the surface.
For event properties near Huntsville or Birmingham, a reusable set can support suitable equipment access across multiple setup days and future events.
Leave room for the delivery movements Account for truck and trailer width, turning space and the return trip during teardown. Include loaded vehicle weights and changing weather in the plan. A route laid for an empty vehicle may need reassessing before a loaded collection trip.
Ask delivery teams to follow the designated lane, travel slowly and avoid sharp turns. Inspect the route during the work and remove mats once equipment access is complete.
Keep equipment routes separate from guest access BamaMats are being recommended here for suitable equipment routes. Guest walkways and accessible routes need products and layouts specifically assessed for pedestrian safety and accessibility. Do not assume an equipment mat lane meets those requirements.
